Lawrence retained by Jones as England complete Autumn Nations Cup preparations

Warriors centre Ollie Lawrence has been retained in England’s trimmed-down squad to complete their preparations for Sunday’s Autumn Nations Cup final against France at Twickenham.

England Head Coach Eddie Jones has reduced his squad to 27 and Lawrence is one of those who will remain in camp at the Lensbury in Teddington.

Lawrence made his England debut against Italy in the delayed Guinness Six Nations decider in Rome in October and started in their first two Autumn Nations Cup matches against Georgia and Ireland earlier this month.

Jones rested Lawrence for last Saturday’s victory over Wales at Llanelli to allow him to recover from a minor hip injury.

Having travelled to Bristol to support Warriors in their Gallagher Premiership match at Ashton Gate on Saturday, Lawrence returned to England duties at the Lensbury at the start of the week.
