Warriors fuel Worcester Foodbank

Warriors players, staff and supporters have helped to spread some Christmas cheer with a generous donation to fuel the Worcester Foodbank.

Essential items of food and household goods were donated in a collection organised by Warriors Community Foundation and first team lock Justin Clegg over a period of four weeks and delivered to the Foodbank in Lowesmoor.

The club are long-term supporters of the Foodbank and helping to replenish stocks has been more important than ever in a year in which many people have lost their jobs, struggled to feed their children at home or who have felt isolated and vulnerable and have not had the opportunity to go out and earn,

In the year ending June 2020, 8,204 people in Worcester were fed by the Foodbank which represents a 21% increase on the previous year with more than one in three of those people being children.
