Ollie Lawrence on England bench for Six Nations finale

Warriors centre Ollie Lawrence is set to win his sixth England cap in Saturday’s Guinness Six Nations finale against Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin (kick-off 4.45pm).

Lawrence has again been named among the replacements with Elliot Daly starting at outside centre in place of the injured Henry Slade.

Lawrence won his fifth cap off the bench when he replaced Slade in the second half against France at Twickenham last Saturday and produced a busy cameo to help England to victory.

“This is our most important game of the tournament and we want to finish well,” said England Head Coach Eddie Jones.

“We’re anticipating a hard, tough game against Ireland and we’ve picked this team to cope with that.

“We want to take it to Ireland physically and play the rugby we want to play.”
