Warriors have announced a new official supplier agreement with Power Plate UK.
Power Plate’s specialist vibration equipment forms an important part of the mobility and recovery programmes for players at Sixways.
“The vibration training and therapy equipment from Power Plate have been excellent helping in our daily training and pre-match preparation at Warriors,” said Warriors Strength and Conditioning Coach David Fabricius.
“Power Plate itself has been very useful in both the preparation and therapy of our players and as each player has their own pre-match routine, vibration training is used as part of their movement preparation. Power Plate Pulse, Rollers and DualSpheres, used extensively in both the training week and pre-match are essentials tools in our soft tissue and recovery protocols.
Used as pre-gym warm-ups for some of the players Power Plate is also being utilised at the end of a training day during recovery when players want to enhance their stretching routines.
Power Plate is also being used in the players’ rehabilitation programmes, not only for movement preparation and balance training but also for adding progression into their upper and lower body re-training, depending on the injury.
“Power Plate’s equipment has given us additional tools in our arsenal to prepare, train, enhance recovery and aid rehabilitation of our players,” Fabricius said.
Power Plate’s equipment was also used by England’s squad at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
“We are excited to partner with Worcester Warriors and expand our portfolio with our whole body and range of targeted vibration products for elite sports,” said Iain Murray, Sales Director Power Plate UK.
“With applications for preparation, performance and recovery, we can assist club rugby players to be at the top of their game. Having supported the England team at the last Rugby World Cup, we are excited to work with Worcester Warriors and expand our portfolio with our whole body and range of targeted vibration products.”
