Warriors secure data and analytics partnership with DataPOWA

Warriors have announced a new 12-month data and analytics partnership with DataPOWA.

Warriors are purchasing annual access to data-driven, real-time sports sponsorship valuation engine POWA index – software which allows market context comparisons across rugby union and the wider sports marketplace – and a POWA Tracker sponsorship valuation via DataPOWA’s proprietary sponsorship valuation technology.

The POWA index platform incorporates data from traditional media, social and digital platforms, and fan interactions for Warriors’ first team, all the Gallagher Premiership clubs and all the clubs competing in this season’s European Rugby Challenge Cup. As part of the deal, Worcester Warriors Women and all the Allianz Premier 15s teams are being added to POWA index.

“The information, data and analysis available to us via the POWA index will enable us to offer improved sponsorship value and data insights across the men’s and women’s teams, and we will also use the monthly social media best practice data to inform and improve our fan engagement on key social channels,” said Warriors’ Commercial Director Adam Palfrey.

DataPOWA CEO Michael Flynn said: “We’re delighted to welcome Worcester Warriors to DataPOWA. Rugby Union is going through an exciting commercial transformation, and the POWA index data will ensure Warriors identify opportunities for commercial development and make more informed decisions.”
