Warriors pair Ollie Lawrence and Ted Hill have been included in England’s final squad to prepare for the forthcoming internationals against USA and Canada at Twickenham.
Both were due to be involved in Sunday’s England A v Scotland A match at Leicester but the game was cancelled after several Scotland players tested positive for COVID-19.
Centre Lawrence has been capped six times by England, most recently as a starter against Ireland in Dublin in the Guinness Six Nations in March.
Warriors’ Club Captain Hill was capped as a replacement against Japan at Twickenham in November 2018.
“This is the third and final phase of our selection. We have a squad here full of talent and potential, with 23 uncapped players who have the chance to make their England debut,” said England Head Coach Eddie Jones.
“We’ve had two good weeks working and training hard and now we look forward to seeing how far we can go.”
England play USA on Sunday July 4 (kick-off 2.00pm) and Canada on Saturday July 10 (kick-off 3.00pm). Both matches are live on Channel 4.
