Sixways is set for the first derby day in front of fans for two years when Gloucester Rugby come to town on Saturday 2 October as part of a double-header with the women’s team, who take on Saracens Women.
The men’s game kicks-off at 3pm, with the women taking to the field at 5.30pm for what promises to be a pulsating day of rugby.
Head Coach Jonathan Thomas will be hoping his side can build a strong home record after a brilliant opening day win over London Irish in the Gallagher Premiership.
He said: “The important thing for us is to inspire our supporters and become hard to beat.
“We want to develop a real strong identity and earn the respect of the opposition.
“We’re quietly confident we can have a positive starts to the season and we want to put smiles back on faces again.”
14 new signings arrived at Sixways in the summer with Time for Change a key message for the new campaign.
Tickets for the game starts at £24 for adults and £12 for juniors and can be bought by clicking here.
