Matchday FAQs

How can I use my on-account balance to buy tickets, food or spend in the shop?
During the reimbursement process, we asked how people wished to receive their refund.

Those who elected a ticketing on-account balance, have had this applied to their ticketing account. This can be redeemed when making a ticket purchase online, over the phone or in person.

Those who chose to use their on-account balance for food, beverage, or retail, have been allocated Warriors tokens, to present at the point of purchase.

Anyone who chose to have a ticketing balance, but wishes to change this to use for food, beverage or the Sixways Store can do this by emailing hello@warriors.co.uk.

Why are there longer queues in the bars on matchday?
Unfortunately, during the various COVID-19 lockdowns, the hospitality industry was particularly hard-hit. There is now a chronic shortage of bar staff across the sector and Warriors are not alone in being affected. We have been asked by other sports clubs in the area if we can help them ease their own staffing issues.

We are working hard to recruit and train new staff and to rectify other matters raised in our post-match survey. Thank you for your patience and, once again, apologies for any inconvenience you may have encountered this season.

What is the best way to buy tickets?
The best way to purchase tickets is online at www.warriors.co.uk/tickets.

If you wish to speak to a member of the ticket office team, you can call them on 01905 459309 or email your enquiry to hello@warriors.co.uk . If the phones are engaged and you need to leave an answer phone message, please leave one message and the ticket office team will get back to you as soon as possible. The ticket office is open from 9:30am-4:30pm weekdays and 10am on a matchday.

When can I buy new kit from the shop?
2021/22 Home and Away Replica Kits are now available to purchase in the Sixways Store on matchday, as well as items in the Training Wear range.

Where can I buy a matchday programme?

Matchday programmes are available to purchase around the ground, with sellers located in the Sixways Store, the EBC Fanzone, the West Stand hut opposite the Scrum Club, the East Stand Turnstiles, plus a roaming seller around the ground. A digital version of the programme can be viewed online for free by clicking here.

What are the Early Bird and Happy Hour prices?

Get to Sixways early on matchday and take advantage of our Early Bird prices in the EBC Fanzone from 11:30am-12:30pm prices starting from £3.60 a pint and Happy Hour prices from 12:30pm-1:30pm with pints starting from £3.80.

Why aren’t there more park & walk sites available?

We have approached every business on Wainwright Road and the three park & walk sites we currently use are the only ones who are happy for us to use their car parks on a matchday.

Will there be more buses for park & ride?

Currently not all buses used for the park & ride are at full capacity, so there is no requirement to put on more buses. However, for the Wasps match on Saturday 4 December there will be 10 minute shuttle services running from the bus station to Sixways due to the County Hall park & ride being used for the Victorian Fayre.

I can’t clearly hear the PA system in game?

Our PA system provider will be attending Saturday’s match to check the system and make any appropriate adjustments to the system.

Have the Scrum Club portions become smaller?

At the Sale Sharks match on 30 October, our usual service agency were not in place and the portion sizes will be rectified by our Kitchen team for Saturday’s match.

Why do the card machines not always work for payments?

Since we implemented our new till system in the off-season we have cut payment times from between 16-45 seconds down to 10. We experienced some minor issues with the devices connecting to wi-fi in the EBC Fanzone and the South East Food Village. We are looking at solutions to hardwire these devices to ensure payment time continues to be shorter.

Why have the cost of pies gone up?

This season’s pies are a higher quality premium pie, rather than our previous suppliers. Our price point is the same as other Worcestershire venues and cheaper than the equivalent pie offering at other sporting venues in the UK.

Can there be more Beer Walls situated around the ground?

We have been extremely pleased with how popular the Beer Wall in the Century Lounge has been with supporters and are currently in the process of looking at other areas around the ground where more walls can be situated.

Will there be more Real Ale on offer?

At each match we rotate our ale offering to ensure we have a different guest ale. At our ale bars we have a choice of three ales, with other bars having one or two offerings which is selected by using previous sale trends and footfall. Based on sales figures, we are also collating a list of ‘likes’ and ‘dislikes’, to ensure we have the most popular options with our supporters. Tribute proved very popular at previous games and will be in the Platinum Lounge for Saturday’s match.

When can I sit in my West Stand seat as normal?

All West Stand Season Ticket holders should have been emailed this week, confirming that they are able to sit in their usual West Stand seat from Saturday’s match. Current Premiership Rugby guidelines have now eased the Red Zone, allowing our supporters to be able to return to their seats. European Professional Club Rugby regulations are still being finalised and this will be communicated to supporters in due course. The situation is continuously developing and restrictions could be subject to change at short notice due to government or league-wide guidance changes.

How is the staffing situation progressing?

We have run a number of recruitment evenings over the season so far and our last Casual Staff Recruitment Event saw us recruit 37 of 46 applicants across bar staff, hospitality staff and kitchen roles. This has allowed us to grow the number of our own staff and reduce the usage of external agencies.
