Warriors fuel the Worcester Foodbank

Worcester Warriors players and staff have helped to spread some festive cheer with another generous donation to the Worcester Foodbank.

Essential items of food and household goods were donated in a collection organised by Warriors Community Foundation and first team lock Justin Clegg.

The club are long-term supporters of the Foodbank and helping to replenish stocks has been more important than ever in another challenging year for many people.

With lockdowns at the start of 2021 and the spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus in the past month it has been another year of uncertainty in which many people have lost their jobs, struggled to feed their children at home or who have suffered from ill health that has restricted their ability to go out and earn.

This year the Worcester Foodbank in Lowesmoor provided 125,600 meals for more than 10,000 people with one in three of those fed being children.
