Under-18s to face Northampton in Sixways double-header

There will be a double-header at Sixways on Saturday as Warriors Under-18s will now take on their counterparts from Northampton Saints as a curtain-raiser to the Warriors v Toulon EPCR Challenge Cup match later in the day.

The Premiership Rugby Academy Under-18 Academy League match was initially due to be played on Sunday but has been brought forward 24 hours and will kick-off at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Warriors Under-18s will go into the game seeking to build on a 24-14 win over previously unbeaten Wasps in their latest match at Aylesbury on Saturday.

Gates will open at 2pm at Sixways on Saturday giving spectators attending the Toulon match, which kicks off at 5.30pm, an opportunity to see some of the stars of the future in action.

Warriors finished third the last time the Premiership Rugby Under-18s League was contested in 2019/20 with a side that included fly-half Fin Smith and eight more players who went on to secure places on the Three Pears Warriors Academy.
