Warriors pair in opposition in Championship clash

Warriors pair Joe Richardson and Caleb Montgomery will be on opposing sides when Coventry take on Cornish Pirates in the Championship at the Butts Park Arena on Saturday.

Hooker Richardson has been named as a replacement for Coventry with Montgomery starting at number eight for Pirates.

They are among seven Warriors players who will be in loan action in the Championship or National Leagues on Saturday.

Loosehead prop Lewis Holsey returns to Hartpury’s matchday squad as a replacement for their Championship match against Bedford Blues at Goldington Road.

In National Two North flanker Jack Forsythe will start for Luctonians against Huddersfield at Mortimer Park.

Two more members of the Three Pears Warriors Academy, prop Ben Murphy and lock Cheick Kone, have been named as replacements by Luctonians.

Warriors full-back Tobi Wilson is among Stourbridge’s replacements for their match against Loughborough Students at Stourton Park.

Meanwhile Warriors scrum-half Tom Miles helped Loughborough University to a 57-30 home win over Swansea University in their BUCS Super Rugby home match on Wednesday.

Miles, who made his senior debut for Warriors as a replacement against Gloucester Rugby in the Premiership Rugby Cup last month, crossed for a first half try for Loughborough.
