Warriors Community Foundation have been working closely with the Royal National Institute for the Blind and British Blind Sport on the ‘See Sport Differently’ campaign which was officially launched today.

An adapted game of rugby for everyone who wants to play the game. Blind Rugby is the latest form of the game for people who have visual impairment and those who have lost their sight.

Blind Rugby, a ground-breaking version of the sport for people with a visual impairment was born and developed by the Foundation at Sixways and its popularity continues to grow with the sport now being played across England, Wales, Scotland.

Blind Rugby is a totally inclusive form of VI sport and can be adapted, with ease, to ensure the integrity of inclusion.

Blind Rugby is a contact sport which affords an opportunity for all players to experience contact and adapt their play and increase skills, accordingly.

There is a specialist channel for B1 (fully blind players) to play in and all sight loss variables can and do play together.
