Under-17s in Sixways action on Thursday

Warriors Under-17s will be in action at Sixways for the second time this month when they face their counterparts from Gloucester Rugby on Thursday (kick-off 2.00pm).

Warriors were beaten by Leicester Tigers in their previous match and will have another chance to impress the Three Pears Warriors Academy coaches against Gloucester.

A number of players have already featured for Warriors Under-18s in the Premiership Rugby Academy League this season.

“Our Academy are looking forward to seeing these guys getting a second opportunity to play as a group,” said Matt Jones, Academy Outreach Coach

“They’ve taken on a lot of learnings following the Tigers defeat and are totally focussed to turn up with a strong performance on Thursday.

“We’ve given a lot of opportunity to guys over this period which has given our Academy good visibility on the local talent and Rob Lewis and I are confident they will put it together against Gloucester.”

Admission to Sixways on Thursday is free.
