Warriors set for Under-18 Academy League Finals Day at Sixways

Warriors Under-18s will face London Irish in the Premiership Rugby Under-18 Academy League Finals Day at Sixways on Sunday February 27.

Warriors finished sixth in the North Conference having won three and lost three of their six matches and will now face Irish, who finished sixth in the South Conference to determine who finishes ninth overall.

In a change to this season’s formats all 14 sides – the 13 Gallagher Premiership clubs plus the Yorkshire Rugby Academy – will be involved in Finals Day.

Seven matches will be played on a busy day of rugby involving the best Under-18s players in England on two pitches.

Warriors v London Irish will be the first match on the stadium pitch at 11.30am with Yorkshire Rugby Academy playing Gloucester Rugby at the same time on the A&H pitch to decide 13th place overall.

There will be two matches at 1.30pm and 3.30pm before the final between Bristol Bears, who won all six of their South Conference games, against North Conference table-toppers Northampton Saints on the stadium pitch at 5.30pm.

The Sixways Brasserie will be open between 12pm and 4pm on Finals Day offering spectators a fine dining experience while watching the action on the pitch.
