Duhan van der Merwe to start for Scotland against France

Warriors’ wing Duhan van der Merwe will win his 19th international cap in Scotland’s Guinness Six Nations match against France at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Van der Merwe scored a try to help Warriors defeat Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership at Sixways last Friday and will start again for Scotland in their third match of the tournament.

It will be van der Merwe’s 16th cap for Scotland with his other three international appearances coming for the British and Irish Lions in South Africa last summer, shortly after he joined Warriors from Edinburgh Rugby.

Scotland are without Warriors loosehead prop Rory Sutherland, who fractured a rib in the defeat by Wales in Cardiff two weeks ago.
