Kyle Hatherell paid a visit to The Chase School in Malvern to join in with a PE lesson and lend his advice to budding young rugby players.
The visit was gifted by Russell Simon, owner of Altofloor Ltd in Malvern and proud player sponsor of Hatherell, who kindly donated his player appearance to The Chase School.
Simon said: “Having been associated with the Chase School over many years providing flooring services ,I felt it would be a nice gesture if Kyle could attend a school rugby training session where he could offer tips to the students, answer questions about being a professional rugby player and sign kit”.
Gwyn Thomas, Faculty Leader of PE said: “I’d like to thank Russell so much for all his efforts in arranging to bring Kyle to the Chase. The pupils certainly took a lot from it and are still buzzing about it now. The experience has opened their eyes a little and it’s certainly encouraged them to continue playing rugby into the future, which is great.”
