Christian Judge to join Saracens

Tighthead prop Christian Judge is to leave Warriors at the end of the season and re-join Saracens.

Judge arrived at Sixways last summer from Bath Rugby and has made 28 appearances this season, 23 of them as a starter.

His most recent appearance came in the Premiership Rugby Cup final victory against London Irish ten days ago when he helped Warriors land their first top-flight trophy.

“I’d like to thank and wish everyone at Worcester Warriors all the best for the future,” Judge said.

“Whilst results haven’t always gone our way, it has been a great privilege to represent the club and work alongside some brilliant people.

“Thank you also to all of the Warriors’ fans whose unwavering support this year has been huge.”

Judge, 29, played National Leagues rugby for Launceston and Plymouth Albion and represented Cornwall and England Counties before he was signed by Bedford Blues in 2016.

He joined Bedford’s Championship rivals Cornish Pirates the following season and was then recruited by Saracens on an initial loan at the start of the 2018/19 season.

Judge ended that season with winners’ medals in both the Gallagher Premiership and Heineken Champions Cup then moved to Bath in the summer of 2019.
