Selina and Sara, twins who attend Haberdasher’s Abraham Darby School have been awarded the Community team Warriors of the month for their enthusiasm and ability on the rugby pitch.
Community Coach Steve Lloyd said: “The girls came over to England from Italy just over a year ago. They spoke very little English but soon embraced everything. They quickly became known for their sporting ability, often racing each other during athletics.
“After being introduced to rugby at school the girls soon realised how great the game is. They are regular trainers, fast developing players and completed everything with a smile of their faces. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two.”
