Important matchday information for spectators

Following the club’s successful efforts to meet Thursday’s 12pm deadline of criteria to enable matches to proceed safely set by the RFU, we can confirm that both Worcester Warriors and University of Worcester Warriors’ matches will go ahead this weekend.

Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership match against Newcastle Falcons at Sixways (kick-off 3pm) will run in a similar way to last weekend’s home opener against Exeter Chiefs.

This means that, due to health and safety regulations, the match will have a maximum capacity of 4,999 supporters, based upon the number of stewards, and staff, all of which are volunteers, and medical provisions available to the club. Once again all supporters will be seated in the East Stand only. Please note – Saturday’s match will again be CASH ONLY.

Please find further information on what to expect below.

Season Ticket Holders

  • Season Ticket holders should have started to receive their individual print at home ticket for this match from Thursday (22nd September) afternoon. All Season Ticket holders should have received their ticket by Friday lunchtime.
  • Those with Season Tickets in the East Stand will be in their normal seats and those with tickets in the West, South and North Stands will be moved to the same price category seats in the East Stand where possible.

Hospitality Guests

  • Hospitality services will also not be running for this match, with all guests seated in the East Stand. Similarly to above, individual print at home tickets will be emailed directly to you for this match.

Match Ticket Purchasers

  • Match tickets that have been purchased in the West, North and South Stands will be relocated to the East Stand. If you have already purchased a match ticket in the East Stand, your seat will remain the same.
  • There will then be a limited number of match tickets available to purchase online. We encourage all supporters to book early to avoid disappointment.

  • All supporters are advised to check their junk/spam folders to ensure they do not miss their print-at-home tickets.

The Sixways Store will be open.

We can confirm that we will have stock of alcohol, including lager, ale, cider and Guinness. There will again be a limited supply of drink to purchase on matchday which will be sold until all stock is depleted.

Food will also be available, with pasties behind all bars, as well as four food outlets, including the Pulled Pork Shack. All food and drinks outlets will be located in and behind the East Stand, with East Bars 1, 2 and 3 open.

All pasties and pints will be priced at £5 each, with half pints costing £3. Food items from other outlets vary in price.

We will again be operating as CASH ONLY for this match, due to ongoing wifi issues which mean we are unable to process card payments.

Supporters should bring cash with them to Sixways and where possible, bring change or the exact amount required to purchase items. This will help to reduce transaction times and therefore lead to queues moving faster.

With many of the weekend’s staff again being volunteers, who aren’t specifically trained in the relevant areas, we are expecting longer queues and advise all supporters to arrive early and remain patient.
