Vermeulen started playing rugby at the University of St Andrews and upon moving to the Midlands in 2012 continued to play at Old Leamingtonians.
Playing predominantly in the back row, Vermeulen captained Old Leamingtonians for three seasons, the key highlight being a table topping finish and promotion.
After seven seasons at Old Leamingtonians, she joined Worcester Warriors Women at the start of the 2019-20 season and has rapidly made the transition to the front row, playing both tighthead and loosehead prop.
She has also represented Warwickshire Women in the County Championship in each of the last four campaigns.
