Baldwin was capped 34 times between 2013 and 2017  and played the majority of his professional rugby for Ospreys where he was a team-mate of Warriors Head Coach Jonathan Thomas.

He made his Warriors debut in the opening match of the 2021/22 season against London Irish at Sixways and captained the side against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park three weeks later in the absence of the suspended Ted Hill. Baldwin began his rugby career with Welsh Premiership club Bridgend Ravens.

He left the club on compassionate grounds in February 2022 to move closer to his family in Wales and subsequently re-joined Ospreys.
