Garside brothers start as Warriors head to Doncaster
Friday 24 October 2025
Jake and Alfie Garside start together in a Warriors shirt for the first time as Worcester head up North to Doncaster for round four of Champ Rugby.
Jake Garside moves from scrum-half to the wing, with brother Alfie coming in on the other wing as one of four changes to the starting XV that beat Ampthill.
Speaking ahead of the game, Alfie said, “We’re really excited to start together in a Worcester shirt for the first time, it’s a big thing for our family and I’m sure they’ll be making the long trip up from Norfolk.”
With Jake adding, “I think it’s the first time we’ve started any game of rugby together – it’s pretty cool being on both wings as well, so hopefully we can get over the try-line.”
Lloyd Williams returns at scrum-half, which shuffles Jake out to the wing with Will Trewin moving to full-back.
After his 100% conversion rate last week, Tiff Eden once again starts at fly-half with Billy Twelvetrees and Tom Seabrook lining up again in the centres.
Bath loan duo Mikey Summerfield and Jasper Spandler continue in the front-row, joined this week by Tim Hoyt at tighthead prop.
Tim Anstee moves from the second-row to blindside flanker which gives Will Jeanes his first Warriors start alongside Hallam Chapman.
Anstee partners captain Matt Kvesic and Khalik Kareem in the back-row, with the latter pair starting continuing their partnership for a third consecutive game.
Second-row Tom Golder is set for his Worcester debut on the bench, where he’s joined by Will Biggs, Billy Keast and Thabo Ndimande as forward options.
Will Lane, Will Reed and Juan González complete the 23.
