Kvesic captains Warriors against Ampthill
Thursday 16 October 2025
Matt Kvesic captains Worcester Warriors for their round three clash against Ampthill on Friday night.
Kvesic starts in an unchanged back row from last week’s loss at Ampthill alongside George Young and Khalik Kareem.
Tim Anstee once again starts in the second row where this week he’s partnered by Hallam Chapman.
Rounding off the forward pack is a fully changed front-row with Mikey Summerfield, Jasper Spandler, and Ashley Challenger all set for their first starts of the season.
In the backs, Jake Garside and Tiff Eden start at scrum-half and fly-half respectively after both featuring off the bench last week.
Tom Seabrook returns to the starting line-up in the centres where he’s once again partnered with Billy Twelvetrees.
Louis Brown once again starts at full-back with Will Trewin and Juan González making their Warriors debuts alongside him on the wings.
Ahead of his first appearance for the club, Uruguayan González said, “I’m really excited – first game, first experience playing outside my country.”
“Also, my family is coming over - so yeah, really happy, nervous but really excited.”
On the bench, newly arrived Bath loanee Will Jeanes and scrum-half Will Lane are set for first appearances of the season where they’re joined by Will Biggs, Billy Keast, Tim Hoyt, Thabo Ndimande, Will Reed & Alfie Garside.
