Rogerson returns for Warriors trip to Pirates

Friday 27 March 2026

Worcester Warriors have made six changes to their side for the trip to Cornish Pirates in the Elior Champ Rugby this weekend.

Warriors won the first meeting between the sides in December, and Saturday’s game marks the first trip down to Penzance since 2015.

Amongst the six changes, Matt Rogerson returns for the first time since round one against Coventry.

Rogerson’s return sees Matt Kvesic move to openside flanker, Tim Anstee to blindside flanker and Obinna Nkwocha into the second row with Hallam Chapman lining up alongside him.

The other change in the forward pack sees Fraser Balmain come into the starting lineup at tighthead prop, with Cam Miell and Austin Wallis completing the front row

Heading into the backs, Lloyd Williams comes off the bench to start at scrum-half after crossing for two tries last weekend.

Will Reed continues at fly-half with Rory Taylor and James Short also starting again in the centres.

Winger Siva Naulago makes his first competitive start for the Warriors after returning from injury, with Josh Bassett and Will Trewin also coming into the back three.

Amongst the replacements, Archie Vanes, Livai Natave and Tiff Eden return to the matchday squad with Ashley Challenger, Hugh Bokenham, Thabo Ndimande, Jake Garside, and Juan González completing the 23.
