Worcester Warriors are delighted to announce the signing of four exciting, up-and-coming talents in Monty Oliver, Zach Armstrong, Lochie Glackin, and Jack Hopson.

Monty, a former Warriors Junior Academy player, is a second-row who rejoins the club after spending time at Hartpury College and has also represented Scotland U’18s.

On re-joining Worcester, Monty said, “I’m so excited to be signing with the Warriors, it’s a club I’ve grown up supporting ever since I remember, and also came through the Warriors academy.”

“I can’t wait to get stuck into Worcester’s exciting style of rugby with great players and coaches, and I can’t wait to get going for pre-season at Sixways.”

Zach, another former Junior Academy player, is a pacy winger/centre who has developed his rugby at Cardiff Metropolitan University both in BUCS Super Rugby and the Welsh Premiership.

Speaking on his arrival, Zach said, “I’m very grateful for the opportunity to sign with the club for next season.”

“Coming back to the club after being part of the academy makes this really special for me.”

“I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I’m looking forward to developing and learning as a player next season.”

Fly-half Lochie joins the Warriors from Denstone College and the Leicester Tigers academy and is another who has represented Scotland U’18s, including at this year's U’18s Six Nations over in France.

On his move to Sixways, Lochie said, “I’m really excited to be joining such a historic club with great staff, players, and fans.”

“The opportunity to come here to develop and learn from such a high-quality group of players is something that really excites me.”

“My ambition to keep developing and grow as a player is something that matches the club, which makes me really excited for what’s to come with the Warriors.”

And finally, Jack is a centre who is returning to England after spending two seasons plying his trade in France with Valence Romans.

Jack spoke of his move, adding, “I’m really excited to be returning to England and joining Worcester for the next chapter of my career.”

“From the moment I spoke with Matt and the players here, it was clear Worcester is a club with huge ambition, strong values, and a great environment to be a part of.”

“I’m hungry to contribute, keep developing my game, and do everything I can to push forward next season.”

“I can’t wait to get started and run out in front of the Warriors supporters at Sixways.”

Speaking on the arrival of Monty and Zach, Warriors Head Coach Matt Everard said, "I'm really excited by the arrivals of both Monty and Zach.

Seeing two former Warriors Junior Academy members return to the club is an inspiring story to all the fantastic homegrown talent in and around Worcester. They are just another reason why the imminent relaunch of our Academy is vital to the long-term success of the club. Both Monty and Zach are exciting talents, and we look forward to seeing them develop as the future of the club continues to grow."

Before adding on Lochie and Jack’s arrival – “Both players are exciting talents with Lochie progressing with Scotland u'18s and Jack developing his rugby over in France with Valence Romans.”

”Bringing both to  the club shows the exciting steps we are taking to build for the future, and this will only grow with the imminent launch of the Academy."
