Warriors make seven changes for return to action
Thursday 19 March 2026
Worcester Warriors have made seven changes for their return to Elior Champ Rugby action against Cambridge at Sixways.
Warriors won 61-14 on their visit to Cambridge in November, after drawing 14-14 at the break and will be looking for a similar result this time around.
In the front row, Tigers loanee Cam Miell and Tim Hoyt return to the starting line-up, where they partner Austin Wallis, who has started every game of 2026.
Hallam Chapman comes into the second row after appearing off the bench against Nottingham, with Côme Joussain lining up alongside him.
In the back row, Obinna Nkwocha starts at blindside flanker for the first time this season, shifting ever-present Tim Anstee to 7 with captain Matt Kvesic completing the pack.
Heading into the backline, Jake Garside moves to scrum-half for his first start in the 9 shirt since October.
Will Reed and Rory Taylor continue in the ten and twelve shirts, with James Short coming into start in the centres alongside Taylor.
The back three sees Roma Zheng and Juan González come into the starting lineup on the wings with Louis Brown continuing at full-back.
Amongst the replacements, Alfie Garside returns from injury after not featuring in a matchday squad since Doncaster away in October.
New loan signing from Gloucester, Hugh Bokenham, also comes onto the bench with Finn Haynes, Lloyd Williams and Chris Preen also returning.
The matchday 23 is completed by Ashley Challenger, Fraser Balmain, Thabo Ndimande and Chris Preen.
