Warriors name side for Community Day at Sixways
Friday 23 January 2026
Worcester Warriors have made five changes for their return to Champ Rugby action against Hartpury University.
Hartpury’s visit to Sixways marks Warriors Community Day, with the squad wearing socks from their first clubs, a community club special to them, or in some cases, local community clubs from the area.
Will Trewin and Jake Garside both return to the back-three, partnering Josh Bassett, who starts again after a try-scoring debut against Ealing three weeks ago.
It’s all change in the centres with Tom Hendrickson starting alongside Rory Taylor, who makes his first appearance since featuring against Cornish Pirates at the start of December.
Lloyd Williams and Will Reed once again line up together at scrum-half and fly-half for a fourth consecutive game.
Heading into the forwards, Billy Keast, Austin Wallis ,and Tim Hoyt continue their front-row partnership.
Obinna Nkwocha also starts again, with Hallam Chapman returning to the starting line-up alongside him as the final change to the starting XV.
Khalik Kareem, captain Matt Kvesic, and ever-present Australian Tim Anstee complete the starting line-up in the back row.
Amongst the replacements, Archie Vanes and Siva Naulago will make their Warriors Champ Rugby debuts after completing their rehab, with both having last seen action against Bath in pre-season.
Elsewhere on the bench, Fraser Balmain and James Tyas also return with Livai Natave, Thabo Ndimande, Will Lane, and Tiff Eden completing the 23.
