Warriors name squad for Hartpury away trip
Friday 10 October 2025
The Warriors have made five changes to their starting line-up to head to Hartpury for their first away trip of the Champ Rugby season.
Speaking on the fixture, head coach Matt Everard said, “The players have been superb this week in building and learning from the Coventry game.”
“We are fully aware how good and tight an outfit Hartpury are and their impressive home record last season.”
“Experienced operators like Martin Haag & Ashley Johnson will undoubtedly build on what Hartpury did at home last season and Saturday will be a tough and exciting challenge for us in our first away game.”
Billy Twelvetrees, who coached at the Gloucestershire side last season, lines up in the centre alongside James Short – with Short’s inclusion the only change from last week’s starting backline.
Welsh pair Lloyd Williams and Will Reed continue their partnership at scrum-half and fly-half with Alfie Garside, Roma Zheng and Louis Brown again lining up in the back three.
In the forward pack, Khalik Kareem and George Young come into the back-row alongside Matt Kvesic – with Young making his first competitive Warriors appearance.
Tim Anstee shifts into the second-row where he partners Harvey Cuckson who starts again.
Livai Natave and Austin Wallis come into the front-row where they partner Tim Hoyt.
Speaking on his inclusion, Wallis said “I'm excited to get out there, our first away game and they’ve just come off the back of a win so it’s another opportunity for us to show what we are about.”
Bath loan duo Jasper Spandler and Mikey Summerfield come onto the bench with Ashley Challenger, Côme Joussain, Hallam Chapman, Jake Garside, Tom Seabrook and Thabo Ndimande completing the 23.
The last remaining tickets are still available for this local derby - don't miss out!
