Worcester Warriors Return to professional rugby with the Warriors Foundation by their side
Monday 18 August 2025
Worcester Warriors and Worcester Warriors Foundation are delighted to announce their renewed partnership as professional rugby makes its long-awaited return to Sixways Stadium for the 2025–26 season.
Following a period of rebuilding, the club has committed to a fresh start built on strong community values, with the Foundation playing a central role in shaping the next chapter of Worcester Warriors engagement in the community.
A Fresh Start for Club and Community
Together, the Foundation and the Club will strengthen opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to engage in rugby and other sports, promoting both physical and mental wellbeing across the region. The combined vision is to create a truly inclusive environment for our community whilst strengthening the Foundation’s extensive outreach programmes through player engagement.
Stephen Vaughan, CEO of Worcester Warriors, said:
“We’re committed to rebuilding this club on solid foundations- financial sustainability, community involvement, and sporting ambition. With the Foundation alongside us, we aim to honour the legacy of Worcester Warriors while creating a brighter future for rugby in Worcestershire and everyone associated with the amazing work of the Foundation. We will have members of the Foundation at all home games selling Match day lottery tickets, raising awareness and essential funds for their programmes and we have dedicated the home game versus Ealing in May as a designated ‘Foundation day’.
Carol Hart, CEO of Worcester Warriors Foundation, added:
“The Warriors Foundation and the thousands of people we support every year are thrilled to have our club back. Over the past 18 months, we’ve been working closely with the club to plan for a future where everyone can access sport, regardless of background or ability. This is a new beginning and a partnership full of exciting opportunities for our community.”
