Tickets have now passed the  7,000 mark for the Red Roses’ autumn international against USA at Sixways on Sunday 21 November (kick-off 2.45pm).

The fixture will bring down the curtain on what promises to be an exciting series of fixtures for Simon Middleton’s side, who be playing at the home of Warriors for the first time since 2011.

Warriors’ very own Lydia Thompson and Alex Matthews both start for England, while Alycia Washington will line up for USA.

Peter Kelly, Managing Director at Worcester Warriors said: “We are delighted that the RFU has chosen Sixways to host the Red Roses against USA this autumn, an occasion that will certainly capture the imagination of the local community and wider region.

“Warriors Women have made significant progress both on and off the pitch in recent seasons, and this announcement will further boost interest and participation in women’s rugby in the lead up to next year’s World Cup in New Zealand.”

England Head Coach Middleton added: “I love Worcester as a club, always see them as a strong community club and it’s great to take a game there in the way we’ve taken it to other hotbeds. It’s another fantastic stadium which has a great feel and a great vibe.”
