Warriors Camps

Worcester Warriors Community Department run a series of camps, both rugby specific and general multi-sport, throughout the year across the Midlands that cater for all levels of experience and ability.

Due to COVID-19 and the relevant guidance (RFU & Government) there will be some differences in how the camps will currently run and all camps will be compliant with COVID guidelines. This will include, but isn’t limited to:

  1. Camps run in line with the guidance for Stage D on the RFU Roadmap. They will be non-contact camps focusing on the handling, decision making, evasion and kicking skills. For the appropriate ages, there will be limited contact involved.
  2. Maximum group sizes of 20 and no interchanging between groups or mixing of groups at registration, lunch and sign out times.
  3. COVID symptom checks to be completed on the morning of the camps.

Warriors Rugby Camps

We deliver a variety of camps aimed at increasing participation as well as facilitating the learning and improvement of the fundamental skills involved in the game. All participants get the opportunity to learn and develop their skills through a range of conditioned games and skill zones. These camps are open to boys and girls aged 6-16 (girls in school years 7 and below play mixed rugby so are invited to attend the general camps. Girls in years 8 and above are invited join the All Girls Camps). Camps run out of season (May Half-term and some Summer camps) will be non-contact based camps and are open to boys and girls aged 6-14.

Warriors Rugby Camps run from 9:30am-3:30pm and range from one day to three day camps in every school holiday as well as our flagship five day residential camp in August. Each camp is staffed by an experienced set of coaches, led by at least one of our full time Community Rugby Coaches, who ensure that the camp is run in a safe and enjoyable way, whilst ensuring the level of rugby coaching helps stretch and support those attending.

Warriors Multi-Sport Camps

The multi-sport camps aim to encourage a love for physical activity through playing a variety of sports. These sports vary from camp to camp but all sports encourage the development of the fundamental movement skills of running, jumping, throwing and catching as well as sport specific skills.
