Warriors & Warriors Women Rugby Camps
We deliver a variety of camps aimed at increasing participation as well as facilitating the learning and improvement of the fundamental skills involved in the game. All participants get the opportunity to learn and develop their skills through a range of conditioned games and skill zones. All the camps are run in line with the RFU guidance and include the relevant skills as well as other non-contact skills which aid the development of fundamental motor skills, e.g. kicking. Camps run out of season (May half-term and some Summer camps) are strictly non-contact camps and are mixed gender camps.
Who can attend?
- Boys and girls aged 6-16
- Boys and girls in year 6 and below play mixed rugby so are invited to attend the Warriors camps;
- Boys in year 7 and above are invited to attend the Warriors camps;
- Girls in year 7 and above are invited to attend the Warriors Women’s camps.
As part of your rugby camp experience you will receive:
- Quality coaching from Warriors coaches
- Coaching from Warriors first team players (*subject to availability)
- The opportunity to win prizes
- A Worcester Warriors gift
All participants are required to bring:
- Rugby/football boots
- Trainers
- Appropriate clothes for all season & a change of clothes (in case of inclement weather)
- Mouthguard (this is compulsory for school years 4 and above)
- Packed lunch
- Water bottle
Warriors Multi-Sports Camps
The multi-sport camps aim to encourage a love for physical activity and focus on developing physical literacy through playing a range of sports and games. These sports vary from camp to camp but all sports encourage the development of the fundamental movement skills, which are transferrable across sports, as well as sport specific skills.
All participants are required to bring:
- Trainers
- Appropriate clothes for all season & a change of clothes (in case of inclement weather)
- Packed lunch
- Water bottle
- Rugby/football boots (only in the event of poor weather as we will try and be outside as much as possible)
TIMINGS STATED ARE THE CAMP ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES. COACHING WILL START 30MINS AFTER THE ARRIVAL TIME.
