DISE Programme

Warriors Women DiSE Programme

The Warriors Women DiSE programme is run through a partnership with Hereford 6th Form College. The Diploma in Sporting Excellence is delivered through the national network of partnerships between Colleges/6th forms and Allianz Premier 15s clubs.

It is a 2 Year course for 16-18 year olds and requires 12 hours per week alongside a main program of study (E.g. A-level, BTEC). Once completion of the DiSE course it is worth up to 64 UCAS points. With the course we not only want to support young athletes to understand what it takes to be a full time athlete but also give them skills and knowledge they can use in all aspects of life.

Hereford 6th Form College

Hereford 6th Form college is an outstanding rated college which provides students with an opportunity to take either A Levels or BTECs in a variety of courses. The large majority of students go onto higher education and many onto competitive courses at top universities.

How are students selected for the programme?

Girls are selected through application and trialling. Acceptance is based on the candidate displaying the potential to play at an elite level and this is then followed by an interview at Hereford Sixth Form College.

What happens after the DiSE?

After DISE our dedicated staff will look at the individual’s options on how they transition through the pathway and work with the athlete what is best for them. There is a range of options including further opportunities with Worcester Warriors and higher education.
