Adams named November Player of the Month

Warriors youngster Josh Adams has been voted the Club’s Player of the Month for November.

The 21-year-old made his Premiership debut earlier this season and has thoroughly impressed throughout the campaign.

And in November, the Welsh wing wizard stood out as Warriors’ star man.

Adams bagged a brace against Bristol Rugby at the start of November as Simon Cross' side defeated Bristol Rugby at Sixways, and followed that up with a sublime double at Wasps a week later.

He impressed off the bench against Northampton Saints before being rewarded with his first Premiership start at the end of the month – and made it five tries in four games when he touched down against Exeter Chiefs.

Adams pipped Jamie Shillcock to the prize with 40 per cent of the votes, while Shillcock was close behind with 34 per cent.

Chris Pennell (nine per cent) and Andrew Kitchener (eight per cent) followed in third and fourth place while Val Rapava Ruskin, Dewald Potgieter and Nick Schonert were among the votes.
