Be a Warrior at our Residential Camp

Ever wondered what it was like to be a Worcester Warrior and train and play like a professional rugby player? Well now you can with our Premier Rugby Academy Residential camp!

This summer see Worcester Warriors Community, Academy and 1st XV Departments team up with Bromsgrove School to offer a truly fantastic opportunity for any young rugby player.

The Premier Rugby Academy Residential camp provides players with the chance to eat, sleep and train like a Worcester Warrior player and this year will take place from Monday, July 27 until Friday, July 31.

The residential camp, based at Bromsgrove School for young players aged between 14 and 17-years-old, includes a week of over 20 hours of rugby along with a whole host of innovative and inspiring morning and evening activities to test young players to the limit.

The Worcester Warriors coaching team will also be utilising the unique and state of the art facilities at Bromsgrove School to deliver the very latest rugby techniques and theories that are used at Sixways Stadium, the home of the Warriors.

They will not only learn how to tackle like Tuitupou, evade like Latham and pass like Jones, but most importantly develop their own leadership and communication skills which are seen throughout by professional rugby players.

This is a five day intensive programme aimed at developing good rugby players into elite players. It is therefore expected that players arrive on the course possessing high levels of energy and skills.

Mike Ruddock, Director of Rugby at Worcester Warriors, said: ”This year’s Worcester Warrior camp is more unique that ever with the week taking place at Bromsgrove School.

“This is where the Warriors are often based in preparation for Guinness Premiership and European Cup matches because simply the facilities are so good.

“This course is one of the best pathways towards developing a player’s rugby skills and developing them as an individual, and possibly following in the footsteps of some the games great young stars.”
