Don’t miss Warriors against Bath on Friday 5 January

Warriors will be hosting their eighth annual Acorns Charity Matchday on Friday 5 January when they take on Bath Rugby in Round 13 of the Aviva Premiership.

Last season saw Warriors pick up a vital 25-19 win over Bath at Sixways but can Gary Gold’s men do it again this time round?

Advanced standard match tickets for the Charity Matchday start from £20 for Adults and £10 for Juniors and are available by clicking here, visiting the Warriors Ticket Office or calling 01905 459309.

The Charity Matchday is held to help support the care Acorns Children’s Hospice provides for local life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their families.

A number of fundraising activities will take place on the day, including a bucket collection.

The Club have allocated a number of tickets for the match at the exclusive Acorns rate of £30 which includes use of the Charity Lounge and a complementary meal, with a proportion of each ticket sold going directly to Acorns.

Exclusive Acorns tickets for the Charity Lounge can be purchased directly from Acorns by clicking here.

Warriors will take to the field wearing special limited-edition matchday shirts, which will also be available to purchase from the Sixways Store in the run-up to the match.

Warriors Acorns Player Ambassador Niall Annett said: “The Charity Matchday has been hugely successful in recent years and the fans are always very generous in the way they support the event.

“The players thoroughly enjoy visiting the Acorns Children’s Hospice in Worcester so we know how much of a difference events like the Charity Matchday can make.”

Lynne Carter, Head of Fundraising at Acorns, said: “The money raised from the Charity Matchday goes directly towards the vital care we provide – care which is only possible thanks to the generosity of the local community. So we’re extremely grateful to Warriors and all the fans for their longstanding support.

“It’s the perfect event to kickstart 2018, so I’d urge people to get their tickets whilst they can and join us in the Charity Lounge for what promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment.”

Last season Warriors raised a grand total of £23,565.93 for Acorns Children’s Hospice. The Charity Matchday alone raised £7000.
