Two-week break for Premiership clubs

Premiership Rugby has confirmed it will take a two-week mid-season break after European competition were temporarily suspended by EPCR.

“The welfare of everyone involved in Premiership Rugby is crucial to us and this break in the season gives us the chance to hand some much-needed rest to our hard-working players, management, staff and match official,” said Darren Childs, CEO of Premiership Rugby.

“The Gallagher Premiership season will return – as – scheduled on Friday January 29 when Bristol Bears host Bath Rugby live on BT Sport.”

Today’s decision by EPCR means that Warriors will next be in action against Exeter Chiefs, the reigning Premiership champions, at Sixways on Saturday January 30 (kick-off 3.00pm).
