Two of Warriors’ latest crop of talented youngsters will start for England Under-20s against Newcastle Falcons Development XV at Kingston Park on Saturday (kick-off 1.00pm).
Loosehead prop Lewis Holsey and centre Seb Atkinson are both members of the Three Pears Warriors Academy as England continue their build-up to the rescheduled Under-20s Six Nations which now gets underway next month.
Holsey, who made three first team appearances last season, and Atkinson, who played in the pre-season friendly at Northampton Saints in November, both impressed when they came off the bench in England Under-20s win against London Irish Under-23s two weeks ago.
England have named a 25-man squad for the weekend in the North East which includes a Friday training session at Billingham.
