Preparations underway for sustainable matchday against Saracens

Preparations are well underway ahead of Worcester Warriors’ #ConvertToZero Gallagher Premiership clash against double European champions Saracens at Sixways on Saturday 30 April (kick-off 3pm).

Earlier this season Warriors become the first professional rugby club in Europe to sign up to the United Nations Sports for Climate Action – highlighting the club’s passion for sustainable consumption and tackling climate change as it aims to achieve net zero on carbon emissions.

Electricity output will be reduced around the ground along with more recycling, reduced matchday parking, and a plant-based menu.

There will also be practical activities in the EBC Fanzone including bee bombs, a smoothie bike and a BP Pulse Formula E rally car so everyone can play their part.

Supporters are encouraged to walk or cycle to Sixways or take one of the extra busses which have been made available for the game.

Tickets can be purchased here.
