Listers Land Rover and Worcester Warriors join forces

Listers Land Rover are working with Warriors Community Foundation to keep the team on the road as they deliver their award winning sport, education and social inclusion programmes to young people across the region.

Working together, Listers are subsidising ‘Freddie the Freelander’ to support Warriors Community Foundation and the Hitz Warriors Programme.

The Hitz programme is designed to help 16-18 year olds focus on the future, overcome and barriers and provide a clear route to further education, apprenticeships or employment with training. The programme provides a supportive learning environment at the fantastic Sixways stadium. The course aims to provide the learner with confidence, skills and accreditation gained in a working environment as well as functional skills in English, Maths and ITC. As well as the learning opportunity, the learners may also be entitled to a weekly allowance, subsistence grants, travel expenses, free kit and access to Premiership Rugby games.

Warriors Community Foundation utilises the Warriors iconic status, players and professional staff to engage and inspire young people through the power of sport to lead and active, healthy and rewarding lifestyle. The Warriors Foundation is the umbrella for all the community based partnerships and activities undertaken by the club.

Listers Land Rover is proud to be able to support Warriors Community Foundation and the Hitz programme.
