Warriors forwards Agustin Creevy and Leonardo Senatore both featured for Argentina in the Rugby Championship last Saturday, but couldn’t prevent a powerful South African outfit from edging the Pumas 13-6.
Captain Creevy and his Argentina side tested the Springboks and picked up a bonus point on a very wet night at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, South Africa.
Boks scrum-half Ruan Pienaar scored the only try of game after 70 seconds, while both sides later shared two penalties apiece.
In the latter stages of the match, Creevy's side had the 2007 World Cup winners on the back foot and threatened to snatch a draw but it wasn't to be.
Argentina's next match is at home to South Africa on Saturday 23 August (kick-off 20:40 GMT).
