Warriors Women’s recruitment drive ahead of the 2021/22 Allianz Premier 15s season gathered pace, with the signing of front-row Stef Evans from Bristol Bears.
Evans, 33, who hails from Canada, followed Japan fly-half Minori Yamamoto through the doors of Sixways Stadium as Warriors eyed further additions in the run-up to the new campaign.
Evans, an entrepreneur who set up her own clothing range Rugette RFC, also founded the #icare movement in response to the online trolling during this year’s Six Nations, with thousands of people coming together to support the future development of female participation and leadership within sport.
