Two changes for A team’s Welford Road character test

Andrew Stanley has made two changes for the Warriors A team that will line-up against Leicester Tigers in a Guinness A League Northern Conference clash at Welford Road tonight (7pm).

Callum Black, fresh from being in the first team squad that defeated Saracens 17-20 at Vicarage Road, yesterday, comes in at tight-head with James Tideswell moving to the bench, while Charlie Fellows replaces Uche Oduoza on the wing.
Last week’s stirring performance against Sale Jets at Sixways, when Warriors fight-back fell just short, has set the team up well for what Stan regards as a great test of his players’ character.
“It will be an environment that most of them won’t have faced before,” he says. “It will show how far some of our players have come this season.
“We had chances to win against Sale and didn’t take them. We missed opportunities to gain attacking field position and crucial turnovers cost us dear.
“It has given us something to work for Leicester. They can go there and give a good account of themselves and put a good performance in.”
