The popular Warrior Premier Rugby Academy Camps are back at Sixways this Easter. Any player from the ages of 8 to 14 will be able to come and make sure they finish their season in style by picking up all the latest techniques and skills taught to them by top Warriors coaches and players.
WARRIORS PRA EASTER CAMP – 3rd – 4th of April
The first of our two camps is open to players from U9 to U14. This camp will be fun based with games, competitions and prizes, as well as picking up top coaching tips off Warriors coaches. Warriors first team stars will also be on hand to pass on advice and there will be an opportunity to win the chance to show off your skills at Twickenham on Premiership Grand Final Day!
Fiona Butler sent her two sons on our last camp of this kind and said; “Just a quick note to thank you and your fellow coaches for a really great training course last week at Ledbury. My 2 boys had a fantastic time, really enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot too! We are now all keen to support the Warriors! Thanks for your great organisation and see you again.”
WARRIORS MASTERCLASS – 12th – 13th of April
Warriors master class camp is back by popular demand! Budding stars are invited to Sixways, home of the Warriors, to learn from the very best coaches in the region. The master class camps are open to players in their key developmental ages of 13 to 16 and are designed to get the very best out of our local young players. Gary Blackmore brought his two sons all the way from Exeter to attend the last camp and said; “Just wanted to say a big thank from Rory Blackmore and Dan Weston who came up from Exeter for the two-day master class. Both boys had a great time and I would personally like to thank the coaches and players of Worcester Rugby Club for making it such a memorable two days for the lads.”
Matt Sherratt, Warriors Community Rugby Development Officer, said; ” The camps that we run here at the Warriors are designed to ensure that the young players leave Sixways with broad smiles and are full of enthusiasm for the game. We now have the best coaches in the area, great facilities and masses of experience to ensure that children who attend a Warriors camp learn, are in a safe environment and have bags of fun!”
