Robinson returns from injury in Ospreys clash

Rising star Carl Robinson is ready to make his comeback after 12 months ruled out with injury as Warriors A face Ospreys A in Aberavon tonight (7.15pm kick-off).

Academy starlet Robinson has been on the sidelines with a stress fracture of the navicular but is expected to feature in the game at Talbot Athletic Ground.
Tom Wood will be skipper for the tough clash as part of a side crammed full of young talent. An exciting back division includes Simon Whatling and Uche Oduoza.
Ospreys – who are playing their second ever A match – are set to include young Welsh star Matthew Jones as the fly-half returns from a serious knee injury.
“For some of the players it will be a journey into the unknown,” said Warriors Academy Assistant Manager Gary Meechan.
“To play against any Welsh side is always going to be a physical and mental encounter of which we relish as coaches in terms of the development of the players.
“We are looking forward to seeing Carl Robinson back. Depending on how the game goes we would like to give him game time and the chance to get some rugby back into his limbs.”
