Worcester Warriors supporters are already showing their support for Mike Ruddock’s side with season tickets and debentures for the 2007/08 season at Sixways selling fast.
The club is delighted to announce that season ticket sales have already smashed through the 1,000-barrier in just over two weeks since the final home league game – 10% of which are new season ticket holders.
Only a few days after the curtain fell on the Guinness Premiership season at Twickenham, season ticket sales are ahead of this time last year as supporters rush to snap up places to watch Ruddock’s team in action.
The new Director of Rugby at Sixways is determined to transform Warriors into a force in both the domestic and European game with his own brand of rugby.
And the arrival of the former international coach has sparked huge interest amongst both new and exisiting supporters and even seen a surge in sales to rugby fans in Wales.
The club is also pleased to reveal plans to play the majority of first team fixtures on Saturday afternoons at 3pm next season to ensure that both season ticket and debenture holders get the very most of out their chosen package.

“The club is also delighted to inform supporters of our plans to play the vast majority of our home games on Saturday afternoons next season. We believe this traditional kick-off time is in the best interests of both the club and our supporters who will get the full benefit from a season ticket or debenture.
“However, when the fixtures are announced there is still the possibility of a couple of games being moved to Friday evenings so that fans can also enjoy the special atmosphere under floodlights here at Sixways.”
