The Guinness Premiership, the world’s most competitive domestic league, has teamed up with official betting and gaming partner, Coral.co.uk to create the first official Guinness Premiership Fantasy Game.
Thanks to the support of Coral.co.uk the game will be free to play, with the winner walking away with £5,000 in cash and a VIP trip to the Guinness Premiership Final. Runner up prizes include LCD televisions, mp3 players, games consoles and signed club merchandise.
Every player in the Guinness Premiership is included in the game, with players awarded 80 ‘stars’ to assemble their dream XV.
Points are awarded for tries, penalties and dropped goals scored in the Guinness Premiership, but also on the basis of how long players spend on the field and whether their team win, lose or draw.
After selecting an initial XV, players can make up to two changes per month to take advantage of Guinness Premiership players at the peak of their form.
Every player registering to play will be entered in the main game, but also automatically entered into a mini-league depending on the Guinness Premiership club they support. Players can also enter a further mini-league comprising friends or work colleagues for example.
