Windo leads star-studded A-Team

Veteran prop Tony Windo will skipper a power packed Warriors side as the Guinness A League returns to Sixways Stadium on Monday night with a clash with Newcastle Falcons (kick-off 7.30pm).

Windo is named in the front row alongside former British Lion Darren Morris as Academy boss Andrew Stanley names a strong line-up as the club looks to build on the impressive win away at Leicester Tigers last week.

Tim Collier and Phil Murphy are paired together in the second row and fit-again Gavin Quinnell plays in the back row.

Mark Tucker is named at centre alongside Greg King and Tongan speedster Aisea Havili and South African international Thinus Delport are also selected in the back division.

Fans are advised that a pitch inspection is scheduled to take place on Monday morning to confirm the fixture. Supporters are advised to check www.wrfc.co.uk on Monday to check the game will still go ahead.
