Work on the next stage of the Sixways Stadium development – dubbed Project Sixways – has commenced this week as the East Stand and North East corner block prepare to start an £8million summer facelift.
The fencing and turnstiles have now come out behind the East Stand and Slick Developments – the contracted developer – have arrived on site.
Supporters visiting Sixways Stadium are advised that the East Stand car park is now closed to all visitors.
The East Stand will remain open to supporters for the final game of the season but the bars and shop will be closed for the Guinness Premiership clash.
A temporary bar area will be installed to the rear of the East Stand along with concessionary units and portable toilets.
Work on the new-look East Stand will commence in full following the Newcastle game and throughout the summer months.
