Warriors skipper Pat Sanderson was shaken but not stirred when he made a special appearance…. as Worcester’s very own version of James Bond!
The Prince’s Trust held a gala screening of Quantum Of Solace to the Odeon cinema in Foregate Street in the city.
Actor John Challis, best known for playing Boycie in Only Fools & Horses, co-hosted the champagne and canapé event.
But it was Warriors captain Sanderson who really caught the eye as 007 for one night with Miss Worcester, Rosabella Styles, as his glamorous Bond girl.
John Leftwich, area chairman of the Prince’s Trust youth charity, revealed the night had raised over £12,000 for the Prince’s Trust in Worcestershire.
This will be matched by European funding to make £20,000 for local young people and out of 20 regional charity screenings last night, the Worcester Odeon’s Prince’s Trust premiere of Quantum Of Solace was the highest-grossing one.
