Warriors camp a Christmas cracker

An enthusiastic group of 45 promising young rugby players descended on Sixways Stadium for the Warriors Christmas Premier Rugby Academy Masterclass Camp.

The boys, aged between 11 and 16, were treated to two action packed and rugby filled days from Warriors coaching staff, which included ex first team player Lee Fortey.

Also in attendance to pass on top tips and enthusiastic words were first team stars Sam Tuitupou and Loki Crichton who spent an afternoon out on the field with the lads before doing a lengthy question and answer session giving advice and inspiration for those dreaming of one day becoming a Sixways star.

“The groups worked extremely well in pretty cold weather conditions; it is great to see that level of commitment and a pleasure to coach young lads who clearly care a lot about their rugby,” said Warriors Community Coach Simon Lane.

“There is a lot of talent among these guys, and with the help of all of the coaching staff on the camp, and of course Sam and Loki who have oceans of experience, we have done our best to ensure they are driven towards maximising their potential.”
